Butler Vineyards Butler Winery, established in 1983, is the fourth oldest operating winery in Indiana. The winery and vineyard are located just 10 minutes from the NE side of Bloomington. Their philosophy has always been to use Indiana-grown grapes in the belief that wine is a reflection of the climate, the soil, and the people who grow the grapes. They make their estate-grown variety wine in small batches, allowing the flavor of the grape to stand out and also provides for a crisp & fruity finish. From award winning full-bodied reds to cult classics such as Blueberry and Black Current wines, winemaker and owner Jim Butler has set the bar for quality winemaking in Bloomington.
